Community Meetings

IRM Community Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month and bring together our research community for scientific exchange and program updates. Each session begins with remarks from the Broad Center Director, who shares important community news and announcements, followed by presentations on topics of broad interest and the latest research from our scientific community.

Meetings are held in person in the Boardroom and virtually via Zoom on the third Monday of each month from 4 – 5 PM.

Stem Cell Genome Engineering Series

This series takes place on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month and kicks off with research presentations followed by a Q&A session. The series highlights advances in genome engineering with a focus on organoid models, aligning with our vision to Discover, Engineer, Heal.

These sessions take place in person in the Boardroom and virtually on Zoom every second and fourth Tuesday from 12:10 to 1:00 PM.

Stem Cell Seminars

The Stem Cell Seminars bring scientists from all over the world to the forefront of regenerative medicine and emphasize the basic research and translational themes of the Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regeneration Medicine and Stem Cell Research at UCSF. These seminars provide an opportunity for the UCSF community to learn about the work being done by prestigious researchers from other institutions, preview unpublished scientific results, initiate collaborations and build networks. The speakers invited to the series provide novel insights into stem cell functions, tissue development, and cell-based approaches to treating diseases.

These seminars occur in person and virtually on Zoom during the regular academic season.
