The Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regeneration Medicine and Stem Cell Research is excited to restart our Seed Grant Program. The Seed Grant Program awards are intended to support UCSF stem cell faculty for the development of promising ideas. We are looking for high-risk projects that could lead to further funding. Minimal preliminary data is required.
Awards amounts will range from $25,000-$50,000 for one year. Awards will be made to both individual principal investigators and/or co-investigators.
All funds must be used for the conduct of research. Faculty and administrative salaries, student tuition/fees, travel, and food/entertainment expenses are specifically excluded. Salaries for graduate students, postdocs, and professional technical staff are allowed. Funding will begin in December of 2015.
